Rebecca joined Elsom back in 2014 and brought both her expertise and passion to the wines at Elsom Cellars. She provides a wealth of knowledge and is the science behind the wine.
Rebecca found herself in the wine industry after earning her bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering. She discovered her passion for winemaking after working her first harvest in Bordeaux, France. Rebecca has worked in various wine regions including Australia, Austria, and California’s Napa Valley and Sonoma County. She also spent several years at the Betz Family Winery where she had the chance to learn from Washington wine pioneer and Master of Wine, Bob Betz.
When Rebecca isn’t delving into chemistry and wine, you may find her traveling the world, volunteering at the Pacific Science Center, or playing on a soccer field.
